SUNDAY 9 November 2008 - $1900 is GUARANTEED PRIZE MONEY

NEW FLASH...We will have a "Kids Fun Ride" for juniors under 10 years old! It will be run on a portion of the course, through the start finish line, and through a fun section of wooded double-track! The Kids Race will start immediately after the juniors, at 12:30pm. There is no need to register early for this event (it's free like all the junior races)...just make sure you check your juniors in at registration and pick up a number for them!

Welcome to the 6th Annual John Bryan Cyclocross Classic. Once again this year we are part of both the Ohio Valley Cyclocross Series (OVCX) and the CapCity Series out of C-BUS! It should be a great first mixing of the two premier cyclocross series in the great state of Ohio.

We are also excited to announce our partnership with Buckingham Financial Group for this year's race, which has allowed us to expand and increase the quality of the event for this year. With the support of Buckingham Financial we were able to underwrite some races to offer discounted entrance fees--mainly the C and Masters fields. Once again all Juniors race for FREE...courtsey of Buckingham Financial. This was done with the intent to get more people into the sport of cyclocross...so come on out and bring a friend! Especially if it's your first time!

Buckingham Financial will also be sponsoring the "Average Joe" and "Average Jane" prizes this year. These will be awarded to the racers who come on out, leave everything on the course, have a great time, but don't make the podium. So when you're out there racing...don't EVER give up...dig deep...and who knows what you'll walk away with!

This year we are also pleased to announce the signing of our very own, INFAMOUS, John Gatch from 2 John's Podcast. He'll be announcing the races, setting the atmosphere, and drumming up the excitement.

COURSE: A 7 minute (A Men standard) course over the front face of the park. This year we will have wide open and fast sweeping turns, with a mix of gravel roads (100 meters), lots of grass, and a short section of singletrack. And of course...the YURT OF PAIN will be back this year!

RACING LICENSES: USCF or NORBA licenses are required for all categories. Day of race licenses will be available for purchase.

REGISTRATION: Registration opens at 9am! There is a $10 late fee as per OVCX rules...so register early at BikeReg.com

STAGING: We will be staging EVERY race in the series. It will work like this...The first 5 riders in both the OVCX and the CapCity series will be called to the front line. After that...it will be IN ORDER OF REGISTRATION down to the last rider! Just in case anyone needed any more motivation to sign up early at BikeReg.
